Sunset

This is an old photo I took of a sunset in 2005 (I can't even say last year anymore - wow! Time is flying by). The whole world around me was pink! My face and even my silver car looked pink from the reflection of this BEAUTIFUL sunset! God is such a wonderul artist - in fact, the best I have ever met! =o)

Halo

Another post of Halo. Without children - I am not as fortunate to have as many "live" subjects to shoot - so I just use her - ALOT! She is a great dog & minds well, but she has her days! We all do.

Eli

This is Eli - my newest nephew. Born Thursday, February 22, 2007. He weighed 6 lbs 10 oz. Beautiful. That brings me to a total of 3 nieces & 2 nephews. Yippee! The last picture is of my mother-in-law with her first grandson. Everyone says that he looks just like Josh when he was a baby. And they do. I will scan some baby pictures of Josh & put them on this post as well. All of these were shot with a "point & shoot" camera. They are very grainy for some reason & the lighting wasn't that great. I just can't wait for my new camera! It never really bothered me before about the quality, but now that that better quality is going to be in my hands - I just cannot seem to be pleased! =o)

We purchased our first home in September 2006. This is "home sweet home". About 2 inches of snow fell and I was so excited to see what our house looked like with "snow". Fun firsts.

Spring Fever!!!!

Spring - I CAN'T wait. It reached 60 degrees today! Just 2 days ago we had 2 inches of snow on the ground. I just cannot wait for the warm days when I can go without my big bulky coat & take pictures of God's wonderful world that just comes ALIVE. Winter is so bleak & dreary. Dark & cold. I know just like in life - we must have seasons....but, just like in my life right now - I am coming out of winter & headed into spring. I am ready....are you??

Jazlin loves taking baths! One of her first & favorite words is fish "pish"....so she is officially my little "pish"! We were making all kinds of hair doos, too!

Crazy!!

Our youth & children had a contest - boys against girls -

to see who could eat a banana and drink a whole
can of Coca-Cola first. Greg was the winner -
the young man in the dark blue shirt.
The girls were gagging and laughing.

Scarecrows for Ransom

Our youth group "scarecrow"-napped 2 scarecrows in our community for ransom. The ransom included a pan of brownies, & a sharpened #2 pencil (don't ask). The mission suffered casualties - we lost a cell phone & risked being caught by leaving "evidence" behind, but the cell phone was recovered. All went well & the scarecrows were returned unharmed once ransom was paid in full. Josh then spoke to the youth about Christ having paid our ransom so we may go to Heaven. Great fun & great lesson!

This is Jazlin - another niece! She is getting so big so fast! She is almost one year old or is one in all of these pictures. So sweet!

My niece Alana. This is her at Christmas! What a cutie! She loved eating the bows on the presents & really could've cared less about the Santa hat! So precious!
