We were just messing around the other day & this is what I got. I love the reflection of me & the sunset in the bubble! Lots of fun!!!! I wish it was only one bubble but there are 2 so it isn't as clear as it could be - but maybe that is why you can actually see me because that second bubble makes it more opaque. Thanks for looking....
Josh had his eye surgery today & all went well. We are staying all night here in Bowling Green & have a post-op appointment at 9:15 AM tomorrow morning. Just thought I would share.
Well, I thought I would give everyone an update on our lives....Josh pulled some ligaments in his right knee last night. He has a leg support he has to wear & is taking some pain & swelling "relievers". He goes back to the Occupational Therapist on Friday. He has Lasik surgery tomorrow (Thursday) in Bowling Green. We will have to stay all night because he has a post-op exam on Friday AM. Revival starts tonight at Mission Vision: Wednesday - Sunday. So My schedule is jam packed for the next few days. Then I need to paint the rest of my house all day Monday and probably Tuesday night. Then I will get some rest! We are trying to sell our house - so pray for us in that area, too! Thanks to everyone in advance!
Yikes! I was tagged (by Joanne)- but have no one else to tag! Oh well - I will be it forever! The 5 reasons I blog:1.) I hardly ever see the people outside of my daily routine & this is a way for everyone to keep up to date with our life happenings. I have been so super busy that they haven't even been able to do that.2.) I love photography & this lets me have a place to post my photos for others to see my progress & how things are changing for us...on a more personal level than the forums (that I have also put on hold).3.) Of the few minutes I see Josh each week - we try to make the most of them. We like to travel around...this gives me the opportunity to take you along.4.) I love to take the time to look at other peoples blogs to keep updated & post comments on their blogs & they in turn post comments on mine - making it almost like a constant everyday pen pal...keeping in touch.5.) Generic answer - but still very true: It's fun!
I thought I would share this - just kinda different. This was shot through a screened in porch - so it looks kinda out of focus. Thanks for looking!
Memorial Day - the time to remember those who have served, died and now serve for our country and also the kick off of summer to some. I wish I could personally thank all of those who have served and are serving. THANK YOU! God Bless the USA!
Well - it has been over a month now since I have posted! Sorry. I truely wish life wasn't so busy. I have cut out all extra "stuff" that I love to do in order to get everything done that needs to be done. I still have some painting to do on the house - but other than that, things are starting to slow down. After this next week I will hopefull have things under control. Josh is having Lasik done on Thursday in Bowling Green. We will have to stay overnight for that. And the Revival is this week at church, starting Wednesday - Sunday. Come join us if you get the chance. Mission Vision Baptist Church in Whitesville, KY. We have been busy trying to squeeze in some "fun time" in order to keep us sane & not to mention we hardly ever see each other! I will post all of these "events" as I can so you can be brought up to date! Enjoy.
Happy late Easter! These past few days have been pretty crazy. To reflect on Christ's death & ressurection is something we should do everyday....but through this "holiday" we remember it even more so. Praise the Lord! He died for MY sins....and yours too! =o) This picture was Sunday afternoon. We were leaving one "family get together"(of the 2 that we could make it to) and heading home. I asked Josh to stop & let me "catch" that shot....or maybe it was more of a demand, anyway - he understands my passion & let me out. What a beautiful creation God has given us! Isn't this just beautiful??? The sky had sun rays all afternoon- but not like this! He was shining down on us!!! I know they are kinda dark for foreground purposes - but I was changing my settings so I could get a more dramatic feel for the rays coming through the clouds because otherwise they washed out against the clouds...this way you could see them ALL! Look at the second picture - on the sides where the sun is just bursting through the clouds!
Jayde did a great job of "posing" for me. She was just like a little model....so fun! Here are a couple. The sun was in & out so it was kinda hard to set the settings every few seconds, thank goodness for Photoshop!
